Connecting with Virgin Blue

Travel aboard both Hawaiian Airlines and Virgin Blue is with just one ticket and have your bags checked through to Hawaii. And on arrival in Sydney, passengers can take a free airside transfer bus from within the Virgin Blue terminal to the international terminal.

Hawaiian Airlines is also a partner in Velocity, the loyalty programme of Virgin Blue, enabling members to earn Velocity points when they buy tickets on qualifying Hawaiian Airlines flights, and to redeem points on flights throughout the Hawaiian Airlines network.

Helpful Hints

Arriving in Sydney with Virgin Blue
First up, head to Virgin Blue's transfer desk (located at gate 39 in Sydney T2). A bus will take you over to T1, Sydney's international departures terminal, where you can use your transfer wallet to check in with Hawaiian Airlines.

They'll check your visa and passport, and then give you an international boarding pass. Next, you'll go through the standard immigration and security checks before you take off for your departure gate

Arriving in Australia from Hawaii
First, pick up your bags and head off to do all the official stuff with immigration, customs and quarantine.

International connections
Simply follow the signs to Virgin Blue’s international transfer lounge and check-in for your next flight.

Domestic connections
For your free ride to the domestic terminal, just follow the signs to the bus transfer and show your Virgin Blue boarding pass to the driver. There’s a security check at T2 domestic departures and then you can head through to your gate lounge ready for take off with one of the best service airlines in the world.
